News

Please view our home page announcement first if you don't already know our awful news.

It is almost impossible to contemplate the future of the band without the beating heart of Rob Hingley.

But play again we will, not only because we must, but because we know it is what Rob would tell us to do.

So although we don't yet know what form our future will take, you can be sure there will be one.

And when it is possible there will be a very social, and decidedly musical, wake in Rob's honour.

For so many reasons we can't talk timescales but of course we will contact our mailing list when we have something to tell you.

Thank you for the good times, and thank you for sharing the joy.

So much love from John, Misty, Steve, and Robin  xxx

Recently...
- We made a last-minute appearance at RoadTrip & The Workshop in November - this will be sadly remembered as our last show with Rob
Before then,
- We played at Paper Dress Vintage alongside Love Volcano, Outer Lines, and Lunafruit - all very fine and funky bands!
- We returned to play for one of our favourite hosts, The Fiddler's Elbow in Camden
- We played a storming set at The Water Rats, Kings X, as part of a Dead or Alive show, supporting Spar Marta and joined by Under The Arches and Neuromantics.
- We stormed the boards at 229 The Venue;
- We joined a Christmas show with Nicole Skeltys & The Disenchanted, Juliette & Nanette, Steven Ball, DJ Tho, DJ Toupée in aid of #TransformTrauma
- A full 12 months since you saw us rocking out to a sold-out house at The Dublin Castle in support of uber-cool NY rock band The Last Internationale.
