We are...
... an entirely original band with a unique sound, built around an accomplished songwriting talent!

Johnnynorms
Lead Vocals,
Acoustic Guitar

John is our lead songwriting singer and rhythm guitar player. He first named "The Many Few" in the 1980s to label his 4-track solo projects which showcased his smart, catchy and unrestrained musical talent. He built up a career's worth of quality songs and ideas and hasn't stopped yet.

But what he needed was some equally talented collaborators...

Misty Wyatt
Lead Vocals

Misty met John in 1990s Brighton and helped prepare the world for his emergence. She now provides the soaring vocal foil to his groovy narratives. The two of them share the lead singsong.

In her sardonic swoopings, Misty brings words, moods, style and occasional daring optimism to our sound.

Robin Hemmings
Bass Guitar
/ Harmonica

When Robin met John at Brighton university he was mercilessly recruited as harmonica accompaniment. Later his switch to bass honed their sound and, joined by Misty, they threw themselves gaily into the London open-mic fray.

The unique potential of this collaboration did not go unnoticed and gigs as a trio soon followed. But we had aspirations beyond trio-dom...

Steve Green
The Drums

Steve has been playing drums for twenty years in various projects covering a wide range of styles and still loves it as much today as the day he first picked up a pair of drumsticks.

Steve has brought a fresh and incisive approach to our performances, catalysing our drama and tilting at lively new arrangements with powerful showmanship.

He loves to keep active and if we were a modern incarnation of the Spice Girls then Steve bags the Sporty outfit.

Thus armed... we set out to win hearts and destroy minds!
